Congratulations to ZCK Vice President Nina Wai on receiving the Victoria Day Award 2026, presented by retiring local MP Kim Wells, in recognition of her dedicated service to the Knox Chinese Elderly Citizens Club Inc.

Brother and Sister Loh are long-time friends of our Founding President, Herbert Lau. For nearly 20 years, they have generously made the first donation to launch ZCK's fundraising campaign for our 25 Years of Service to Multicultural Australia celebrations in 2027.

Thank you for your generosity, enduring friendship, and support. Your visit beautifully reflects the DEJIAO spirit of "The International Brotherhood of DEJIAO," where friendship, compassion, and service unite us across borders.

Together We Are Stronger! Pleased to join the Australia Multicultural Organisation Network (AMON) Community Forum with the Hon. Clare O’Neil MP, Member for Hotham, where ZCK is located.

Together with Chinese community leaders Chap Chow, Tom Huynh and Mark Wang of the Chinese Museum Australia, we discussed the challenges and opportunities facing multicultural communities, currently the Indian community.

It was reassuring to hear Clare’s genuine commitment to tackling housing issues and her strong belief in the contribution and success of multicultural Australia.

Alex Leong and I were honoured to represent Zee Cheng Khor Moral Uplifting Society Inc. (ZCK) at the NAIDOC Week celebration organised by the Monash Interfaith Gathering.

It was a meaningful day of friendship, learning and reconciliation. A heartfelt Welcome to Country by Uncle Chris Hume, together with his explanation of the Smoking Ceremony, gave us a deeper appreciation of the culture and spirit of Australia's First Nations Peoples.

We were delighted to join community leaders, including Vivienne Nguyen AM and Nicky Luo. A multicultural choir led by Aunty Irene, performing First Nations songs, John Lennon's "Imagine" and the classic "I Am Australian," beautifully reflected the day's message of unity, hope and belonging.

Congratulations to the Monash Interfaith Gathering team for another inspiring NAIDOC celebration that continues to build understanding, respect and social cohesion. A special shout-out to the ever-energetic MC, Kamla, for bringing the event to life with her warmth and enthusiasm.

Together, we continue building One Community, Many Cultures.
