Zee Cheng Khor Moral Uplifting Society Inc. 墨尔本德教会紫成阁, a Chinese cultural centre, was deeply honoured and delighted to accept President Stanley Chang's invitation to attend the 2024 AGM of the Oceanic Branch of the World Chinese Writers Association and the Book Presentation Ceremony at the Springvale Library.
President Chang highlighted the remarkable contributions of these writers in promoting Chinese culture, enriching cultural diversity, and fostering community building. It was particularly inspiring to learn that the number of Writers Groups has doubled since 1990, reflecting the growing passion for literature and cultural exchange.
It was great to see the support and hear from Jim Memeti, the Mayor of the Greater City of Dandenong, and Eden Foster MP Mulgrave.
